NAC versterkt technische staf met voormalig FC Den Bosch-trainer
BREDA – NAC Breda heeft versterking gevonden voor de technische staf. De club heeft Jacek Gorczyca aangesteld als assistent-trainer. De 54-jarige Pool werkte eerder als hoofdtrainer bij FC Den Bosch. Gorczyca kwam in 2019 bij FC Den Bosch terecht en leidde de club in het seizoen 2019/2020 naar promotie naar de Keuken Kampioen Divisie. In het seizoen 2020/2021 stapte hij halverwege op vanwege tegenvallende resultaten. Voor zijn periode bij FC Den Bosch was Gorczyca onder meer werkzaam als trainer in Polen en Griekenland. Hij heeft een UEFA Pro-licentie. “We zijn blij dat Jacek bij ons komt”, zegt NAC-trainer Edwin de Graaf. “Hij is een ervaren trainer die goed bij onze club past. We denken dat hij een waardevolle toevoeging is voor onze staf.” Gorczyca is enthousiast over zijn nieuwe uitdaging. “Ik heb er veel zin in om bij NAC te beginnen”, zegt hij. “Ik wil mijn ervaring gebruiken om de club te helpen. Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat we samen succes kunnen behalen.” NAC Breda staat momenteel op de vijfde plaats in de Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Marc van Hintum, oud-hoofdtrainer van FC Den Bosch, keert terug bij de club. De Poolse assistent-trainer gaat aan de slag bij NAC Breda. Van Hintum was van 2017 tot 2019 hoofdtrainer van FC Den Bosch. Onder zijn leiding promoveerde de Bossche club naar de Jupiler League. In 2019 vertrok hij naar FC Emmen, waar hij assistent-trainer werd. Bij NAC Breda wordt Van Hintum de assistent van hoofdtrainer Peter Hyballa. De Poolse trainer was eerder werkzaam bij onder meer Hertha BSC, ADO Den Haag en Vitesse. Van Hintum is blij met zijn terugkeer in Breda. “Ik ben heel trots om terug te zijn bij NAC,” zegt hij op de website van de club. “Ik denk dat we een goede technische staf hebben en ik kijk ernaar uit om met Peter Hyballa samen te werken.” Hyballa is ook blij met de komst van Van Hintum. “Marc is een ervaren trainer met een uitstekende staat van dienst,” zegt de Duitser. “Ik ben ervan overtuigd dat hij een waardevolle toevoeging zal zijn aan ons team.”
