Op dinsdagmiddag heeft er een aanrijding plaatsgevonden op de Op+de+Ter+Warden in Nuenen. Mogelijk zijn er één of meerdere personen gewond geraakt. De melding kwam rond half drie ‘s middags binnen bij de alarmcentrale. De oorzaak van het incident is nog onbekend. Nuenen valt onder de P2000-regio Brabant-Zuidoost. De hulpdiensten in Nuenen reageren op 112-meldingen die binnenkomen bij de veiligheidsregio. De brandweer is de afgelopen 30 dagen 10 keer naar Nuenen gestuurd en de ambulance heeft in die periode 127 keer hulp verleend.

Discussie over Bedrijventerreinen in Middelburg: Voor wie worden ze aangelegd?
Middelburg onderzoekt de aanleg van nieuwe bedrijventerreinen in de stad. Er zijn volgens de gemeente veel bedrijven die willen uitbreiden of op zoek zijn naar een nieuwe locatie. Het onderzoek naar de mogelijkheden voor nieuwe bedrijventerreinen is nog in volle gang. De gemeenteraad zal uiteindelijk beslissen of er nieuwe terreinen worden aangelegd. Inmiddels is er een petitie gestart tegen de aanleg van nieuwe bedrijventerreinen. Tot nu toe hebben ruim 1.200 mensen de petitie ondertekend. De discussie over bedrijventerreinen in Middelburg zal de komende tijd ongetwijfeld doorgaan. Het is aan de gemeenteraad om de belangen van alle partijen zorgvuldig af te wegen en een beslissing te nemen die het beste is voor de stad.
