De brandweer werd rond 20.00 uur gealarmeerd en rukte met groot materieel uit. Bij aankomst stond het pand al volledig in brand. De vlammen sloegen metershoog uit het gebouw. De brandweer heeft opgeschaald naar een zeer grote brand. Er zijn geen gewonden gevallen. Wel is er veel rookontwikkeling. De omgeving wordt door de politie afgezet. De brandweer heeft het vuur inmiddels onder controle, maar is nog wel bezig met nablussen. De oorzaak van de brand is nog niet bekend.
