Het Slottuintheater begint het zomerseizoen met gratis voorstellingen

– Het Slottuintheater in Zeist opent het zomerseizoen met gratis voorstellingen. Van 17 juni tot en met 16 juli is er elke donderdag en zaterdag een gratis voorstelling te zien. Het programma bestaat uit een mix van muziek, theater en dans. Zo treedt op 17 juni de band The Elevatorboys op, gevolgd door de theatervoorstelling “De Inval” op 24 juni. Andere hoogtepunten zijn de dansvoorstelling “Footnotes” op 1 juli en de muziekvoorstelling “Birds & Bees” op 9 juli. Het volledige programma is te vinden op de website van het Slottuintheater. De gratis voorstellingen beginnen om 20.00 uur en vinden plaats in de open lucht. Bezoekers wordt aangeraden om een eigen deken of stoel mee te nemen. Het Slottuintheater is gelegen in het prachtige Slotpark Zeist. Het theater is een uniek en intiem theater met een capaciteit van 300 zitplaatsen. Naast gratis voorstellingen biedt het Slottuintheater ook een uitgebreid programma met betaalde voorstellingen. “We zijn verheugd om het zomerseizoen af te trappen met gratis voorstellingen,” aldus theaterdirecteur Kees Zandvliet. “We hopen dat veel mensen de gelegenheid aangrijpen om gratis van cultuur te genieten.” Het gratis zomerprogramma van het Slottuintheater is mede mogelijk gemaakt door de gemeente Zeist en de provincie Utrecht.This HTML code represents an article, likely a news article. De band bestaat uit vijf bevriende muzikanten die hun muzikale inspiratie halen uit Ierland, Schotland, de Balkan en Amerika. Ze spelen onder meer traditionele Ierse folk, bluegrass en popliedjes. De voorstellingen vinden plaats in de tuin van het Slot Zeist. Bij slecht weer wordt uitgeweken naar de Slotkapel.
