The assailants, armed with a firearm, approached the victim at 6:30 pm and threatened him before brutally beating him to steal his belongings. Eyewitness accounts place the escape route of the perpetrators towards the Tweede Constantijn Huygensstraat, where they boarded a waiting taxi. The dark-colored taxi sped away towards Overtoom, leaving the victim injured and the assailants at large. The police are actively seeking witnesses or anyone with information about the incident.
