Het Houtfestival is een cultureel walhalla. Op verschillende podia vinden er gedurende het hele weekend live-optredens plaats, van klassieke muziek tot pop en van hiphop tot elektronica. Daarnaast zijn er theater- en dansvoorstellingen, exposities, workshops en kinderactiviteiten.
Houtnacht: Een magische nacht
Zaterdagavond is het tijd voor de Houtnacht. Het bos wordt omgetoverd in een sprookjesachtige wereld met duizenden feeërieke lichtjes, indrukwekkende lichtinstallaties en sfeervolle livemuziek. Wandel langs de verlichte paden, bewonder de lichtprojecties en geniet van een hapje en drankje.

Houtfestival en Houtnacht: En weekeinde lang is Haarlem de wereld HAARLEM – Het belooft een bijzonder weekeinde te worden in Haarlem. Vanaf vrijdag tot en met zondag staat het Houtfestival op het programma. Tijdens dit festival staat alles in het teken van hout. Er zijn demonstraties van houtbewerkers, lezingen over hout en natuurlijk veel kraampjes met houten producten. Nieuw dit jaar is de Houtnacht op zaterdagavond. Tijdens de Houtnacht worden er in het Hout tal van activiteiten georganiseerd, zoals livemuziek, theater en workshops. Ook de horeca in het Hout is tijdens de Houtnacht geopend. Het belooft een gezellig en informatief weekeinde te worden voor iedereen die geïnteresseerd is in hout. Het Houtfestival en de Houtnacht zijn gratis toegankelijk.
